Dawn of 66

I was born in supernova

Bid to wander icy reaches

The light of stars, the life of Earth

I knew them not but for a pull,

A force that flung me from beyond

The twilight girdle of the sun

And though I met the bright, blue ball

With a face of flaming terror

To the land below I was just

The dawn.
